Peg Forrest
SPEAKER
Peg’s passion is for living out her calling to teach and disciple women of all ages, whether through the spoken or written word. Peg leans on her years of “on-the-job-training” as a missionary in Kenya, counselor, bible study teacher, and Dean of Women at Arizona Christian University to share Jesus-relevant stories that draw women into deeper intimacy and a more secure identity in their Savior. Peg considers herself a simple woman with a simple message to which ladies everywhere can relate and be encouraged. Peg and her husband, a former 6′ 10″ NBA center for the Phoenix Suns, began FOCUS Ministries in 1992 on their return from Africa (www.focusministries.org), and travel worldwide, using their life stories and experiences to share the gospel with a FreshOutlookCentering Upon the Savior.

Deb Moore
Worship Leader
Debi has been involved in short-term ministry work around the world for several years and has a deep desire to "serve the servant" abroad. She loves to be involved in women's ministry conferences; teaching, speaking, encouraging, listening, praying for, and of course, leading women into God's courts with praise! Debi and her husband live in Canon City, Colorado, and own an excavation and wildland firefighting company. They are co-founders of Pearls of Education Foundation, a charity that provides education and restoration to Liberian students. Debi is the co-author of the children's book "A Girl Like Me."

Kari Berglund
RETREAT SPECIALIST
Kari lives in Littleton, CO but can also be found exploring in her camper van with her dog Lucy. She has 3 adult children, 3 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter. Kari loves to come alongside women in their faith journey through prayer, encouragement, and Bible study. She has many global worker friends and loves partnering with what God is doing around the world in any way she can. In her free time, she pursues photography and anything crafty.

Marci Davis
Marci lives in Asheville, North Carolina with her husband, Mike, and their three-year-old daughter, Reed. She owns and operates a vibrant hair salon where her passion for connecting with women and making them feel beautiful is fostered behind the chair. Marci loves using her hairdressing skills to embolden homeless people in the community and is excited to have the opportunity to serve missionary women in Malta.

Tasha Fox
Tasha lives in St. Louis, MO. She worked as a CPA for 18 years and was a professional cheerleader for the St. Louis Rams. She cheered in Super Bowl XXXVI and also competed twice on the CBS reality TV shows, “Survivor” and “The Challenge: USA”. Tasha became a Chick-fil-A operator in 2019 and she has a passion for equipping and motivating others to follow their dreams and aspirations. She also serves in her church as a praise dancer and in prison ministry.

Lidia Frazier
Lidia is from Phoenix, AZ. Her family are immigrants from Romania and she is a first generation born in Arizona. Lidia has a background in nursing, but her current role is working at a medical spa. She is also writing a book about God's miraculous love. Lidia loves to encourage women to experience God’s amazing love and to help them feel beautiful inside and out. She is also a proud grandmother of an adorable baby girl.

Elizabeth Garner
Elizabeth lives in Memphis, TN. She is trained as an anesthesiologist but spent the last two decades as a wife and stay-at-home mom. She began following Christ as a teenager, but she experienced Him even more abundantly through several tragic life events. She has a passion for discipling younger women in her church and for teaching discipleship principles in cross-cultural contexts. Elizabeth enjoys teaching and leading women’s Bible studies, regular CrossFit style workouts, running, and caring for two crazy maltipoos.

Veronica Gatling
Veronica currently serves as the Minister to Women at the Scottsdale Bible Church. She lives in Phoenix, AZ with her husband and best friend Timothy for 35 years. They have 3 adult children and 1 precious grand baby girl Zeriah. She retired from a fulfilling career in Christian school education in 2020. She has a master's degrees in education and Christian ministries and an earned doctorate degree in educational leadership. She now uses these skills in full time ministry to teach Bible studies and recruit women to serve in their gifting. She loves the ability to serve hands on and be a small part of what God is doing in the lives of women wherever He places her.

Joyce Graham
Joyce lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, and recently retired from working on staff at Scottsdale Bible Church. She is single and has spent most of her life serving in the church discipling high school, college, and young adult women. Joyce has been on several short-term trips and enjoys learning about people and other cultures. Listening to stories of other people and connecting people to God’s Word and other resources is her passion. Joyce looks forward to travel, ministry, time with friends, arts and crafts, photography, and fashion in her retirement years.

Elisabeth Harper
Elisabeth is a wife and mother of 4 in Lexington, Kentucky. Elisabeth attended ministry school in Colorado where she focused on women and children’s ministry where her heart to see women empowered and encouraged in their relationship with the Lord grew. Armed with this passion, she decided to take that ministry into the marketplace, and open her own salon. Now that Elisabeth is a full- time mom, that passion to see others grow in the Lord has not diminished one bit. It is something she cultivates with her husband in their home and what she hopes to take out into the world!

Angelyn Liu
Angelyn serves as Sr. Program Lead and Advisor on the Corporate Social Responsibility team at Chick-fil-A. She is passionate about using business and technical skills to help social entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations grow and scale their impact and organization in order to take good care of children, families, and communities. She currently leads the Chick-fil-A Impact Accelerator program that brings together hundreds of nonprofit leaders for a day of community, inspiration, and learning through a one-day conference and a 10-month cohort program.

Brenda is a retired leader from Chick-fil-a and now serves as a project leader with Lifeshape. She is the founder of Master Minded Women, a nonprofit organization focused on developing the unlimited potential of women through the power of Heart Transformation. Brenda is also a certified Transformational Coach. Married to her husband Vincent, they are navigating the next chapter of life, spending time together and traveling. She loves being mother to K. Renee and Gammie to Mason and Kali! Brenda finds alignment and oneness with God when serving women.

Annette Nicholl
Annette Nicholl served with CRU campus ministry for 20 years, 8 Years in Irkutsk, Russia. Currently, she and her husband Spencer serve in Member Care for Samaritans Purse and direct a small ministry in Ohio City Colorado called Big Horn Ministries. Their mission is to help people take their next step in life and toward Christ. They offer a place in their remote Colorado location for respite and rest for those who are in crisis, burned out, or just need a break. Her passion is to help women get back to a listening place with the Lord. She has three grown children; Andrew, Kayla and Kate.

Kelly Osness
Kelly and her husband, Chris, operate a retail store in the small mountain town of Gunnison Colorado. She has been a Life Group Bible study leader, serves as a mentor for MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), and was a local group leader for Women of Faith. Her goal is to serve and grow God’s Kingdom through service, encouragement, and leadership. She is the proud mom of Zach (and daughter-in-law, Laura) and Nana to Theo, Lukas, Eva, and Titus.

Megan lives in Marshall, NC, just outside of Asheville, with her husband and two boys. She is a real estate agent & investor, and, alongside her husband, she enjoys re-envision fixer-uppers into beautiful homes. She serves on the Global Outreach Team and leads bible studies & other women's events at her church, Gracepoint and she feels called to encourage other women in their pursuit of Jesus.

Candice lives in Running Springs, CA with her husband Jon, and their cavapoo puppy, Faith. They have been in full-time ministry with Oasis Rest International for the past 9 years providing member care to weary ministry leaders, including 3 years in Costa Rica. When Candice isn't cooking, coaching, debriefing, and caring for others in her home, she enjoys Bible journaling, and watching HGTV and the Food Network. She loves spending time with her family as well.

Keitha Ruiz
Keitha is the Engagement Coordinator at Brookstone Church.. She is married to Gregg and they just celebrated 30 years of marriage in May. She has one son, Matt, and a beautiful 1-year-old granddaughter, Shepherd. She is also the founder of a drama ministry (Sprig of Joy). She teaches bible study and speaks at various women's events and churches. Her main mission in life is to share Jesus with women in such a way that they WANT to grab hold of His truths and live in the outrageous, uncontainable Joy of the Lord. In her spare time, she loves to travel, get lost in a book, and spend time with her family and her golden retriever, Jessop.

Kelly Sandford
Kelly is a single young lady who has past experience as a global worker in Tanzania as recently as 2023. She now resides in Raleigh, North Carolina working as a nurse on a cardiac/vascular surgical floor. She loves talking to people and hearing about their experiences. She believes God is a big and good God and does amazing things even through all the difficulties of life and ministry and knows sometimes a safe space to just talk about it helps. She also loves embroidery and swimming.

Nickey Stamey
Nickey lives in the mountains of Western North Carolina where she is the Program Director at the Blue Ridge Partnership for Children where she leads a child abuse prevention program. She is endorsed by the North Carolina Infant Mental Health Association as an Infant Family Reflective Supervisor and holds her NC Certificate in Trauma and Resilience. Nickey has a call on her life to serve women in the name of Jesus and responds this call in a variety of ways including being a part of a Christian women’s drama troop. She enjoys traveling with her husband and son and spending time with her cats.

Mary Jane Utterback
Mary Jane is a worshipper, prayer warrior, and encourager from Scottsdale Arizona. In 40 years of prayer ministry she has experienced the Holy Spirit breaking up and freeing hearts from pain and bondages and seen feet a’dancing. As a retired teacher, she volunteers for Sunday school, VBS, and an after-school program called Mentor Kids for children in underprivileged schools. She serves as a music, swimming, and reading teacher. She has 4 married children and 17 grandchildren.

Barb has worked with Chick-fil-A 12+ years, currently serving as Lead Technical Product Owner for Spotlight, a tool used by Operators to care for customers. She has served as a teacher and coach for women and girls, specializing in endurance sports and helping people realize their dreams of accomplishing what they thought was impossible. Barb has always had a love for family and friends, a deep appreciation for the outdoors, a passion for seeing the world and meeting new people and a servant heart and spirit.

Ali Lives in Boulder Colorado and loves to hike all the beautiful trails that Boulder has to offer, often with her dog Inge! Ali is married and has 7 children, two grandchildren, and one more on the way. She Loves traveling and has always had a heart for serving in women’s ministry.
