Azmera ARGENTINA 2025 | Prayer Calendar (April 13 - April 20)
Greetings once again! We hope you will continue to be refreshed and encouraged during the time you spend in prayer, as you listen to the Lord’s voice and follow as He leads.
Sunday, April 13
The Argentina Haven Retreat ends today! Pray for the women as they gather together one final time, that the time they spend in worship, teaching, prayer, and connection would be full and there would be a sense of holiness and truth. Pray each one would receive the words spoken to and over them with grace. Ask for any word spoken that is not from the Lord to be forgotten and not to take root in hearts and minds.
Pray for the Connection Crew to continue to be sensitive to the voice and leading of the Holy Spirit, to speak in boldness and love, and to follow the Lord’s leading in obedience and confidence. Pray for them as they spend time debriefing and resting, that there would be space given for each one to rest and process as needed. Ask for a continued spirit of unity and compassion among these women, as they share the things witnessed and experienced, there would be grace and truth both given and received.
Pray for M and the health of her son B, that he would know fullness of healing and wholeness in his body. Ask that she would trust the Lord’s timing and provision, and would wait faithfully on Him. Pray she would be content and confident in trusting the Lord with her son, and would allow herself space to look after her own needs, and would make time to do the things that bring her joy and life.
Monday, April 14
Pray for A as she offers more trainings on member care and self-care for pastors and leaders in her community, that doors will open for her as people realize the value of the trainings she offers. Pray she would be sensitive and kind to those she works with, and that as she trains and offers guidance for those around her she would be sensitive to the voice and leading of the Holy Spirit. Ask for her to see where God is at work around her, and would be confident in following His leading as He provides new opportunities and relationships.
Pray for A as she changes her role within her ministry focus, that as the transition happens she would be filled with hope and peace as her ministry and responsibilities shift from what she has known. Ask for her to give and receive grace as growing pains may happen, that she would be comfortable to go with the flow and allow others to step up as needed. Pray for her to gain a new confidence in herself as she sees the changes around her and in herself as she continues to follow the Lord’s leading.
Pray for L and her family as they look with hope and expectation for this year as they look ahead to transitioning ministries and roles in 2026. Pray there would be peace along with excitement for each member of this family as things move in new directions. Ask for protection and grace over them as they each adjust and move forward at their own pace, for there to be kindness, compassion, and understanding within their home.
Tuesday, April 15
Pray for the Connection Crew as they begin their journey home. Pray for smooth flights and rest on each leg of the journey. Ask that each woman will hold in her heart the encounters with God that she witnessed and experienced, that the things taken back with will be holy and good and far beyond the tangible. Pray for this group of women to continue to form friendships and a good support system for one another as they get back into the swing of things once they’re home.
Pray for L as she navigates difficult team dynamics, for her to have wisdom, compassion, and understanding, and to be a voice of grace and reason within her team. Ask for a spirit of unity, kindness, and love to cover this team, for each person to step back and gain a new perspective on how their behavior and words impact those around them; pray for each one to gain a deeper desire to become more like Jesus, especially with their teammates.
Pray for B and her desire to know and hear God’s voice more clearly; pray the Lord will quiet the noises and voices around her as she makes time to stop and listen to Him, that she would hear Him and be filled with confidence and truth as she follows Him. Ask for an outpouring of financial and physical resources and help for her ministry and community, that she would see God’s provision and be filled with a new faith as she trusts Him to provide in His own timing. Pray that she would make time for herself to step back and rest on a regular basis, that she would find ways to care for herself that provide energy and delight to her heart and soul.
Pray for V as she works with youth and builds relationships with the kids in her community that she will be compassionate and understanding, and give each individual space to be themselves. Pray for a good support system for her, for people that she can go to to share her burdens with and not feel alone or as though she must do all the work herself. Ask for a spirit of compassion and love for every person she encounters.
Wednesday, April 16
Pray for M and her family as they prepare for a three-month home assignment. Pray for peace and calm over her heart and mind as the worries of travel with their four-year old daughter, the intense months of visiting churches, family, and friends, and leaving their ministry for so long threaten to weigh her down. Ask for this time on home assignment will be refreshing and life-giving in unexpected ways, for her to see where and how God is and has been and work, and to be filled to overflowing with gratitude and awe at the goodness of God.
Pray for K’s heart to be soft and open towards what the Lord has in store for her at this Haven Retreat. Ask that she would be available and willing to step into the places God has set aside for her, and for her ears and eyes to be open to His voice and leading as He invites her into dark places that He longs to bring into the light. Pray for protection and peace over her as she encounters God in stunning new ways.
Pray for J as she helps lead a women’s refuge center in her town, that she would have wisdom and discernment in knowing how best to place the women in need of homes and space. Ask for there to be an abundance of support and love not only for the women in need but also those serving them. Pray for protection over each woman who comes to them for help.
Thursday, April 17
Pray for L as she and her new husband navigate moving and the challenges that come with that, such as visas and raising support. Pray for everything to work smoothly in their favor, that they would be able to see God’s hand guiding and protecting them in this season. Ask for grace and a fullness of love and life in their marriage as they adjust to married life and to the big changes in community and ministry.
Pray for K as she desires to find healthier boundaries and balance to the many hats she wears, including mothering two small children and helping with transitions within ministry. Ask that she would be proactive and confident in her decision making and would be wise in prioritizing her time, activities, and responsibilities. Pray for joy and clarity as she sets good boundaries within her ministry, that as she does so, she would see the fruit from those boundaries in real time.
Pray for G and her husband as they adjust to becoming empty nesters this year and will need to find new rhythms for their marriage and themselves. Pray they would have open and honest communication with one another and will give and receive grace freely. Ask for peace over their minds and hearts as they engage with their children in new ways through time and distance.
Friday, April 18
Pray for T as she is in a season where big decisions need to be made; pray she would be intentional about spending time with the Lord and asking for His voice to be clear as she seeks direction. Ask for clarity, wisdom, and discernment as she makes decisions and waits on the Lord for timing and provision, that in the waiting she would know peace and joy.
Pray for S and her family as they prepare for a giant move from Africa to South America. Ask that things would fall into place smoothly and in a timely manner, that there wouldn’t be heavy stress or worries about red tape or any of the logistics and details that need to come together. Pray for her to have wisdom in helping her four children navigate this cross-cultural move and transition, while still allowing herself time and space to say goodbye to her friends and community, and to give herself grace to grieve the ending of her time in Africa even as she looks ahead to all the new things that await her.
Pray for F to have peace of mind and heart as she trusts the Lord with the physical and emotional health of each person in her family, that she would not worry or carry burdens that are not meant for her. Pray she would be intentional about spending time with Jesus, to listen to His voice and know His presence of calm and peace. Ask for a deeper sense of joy and faith as she walks with the Lord and allows Him to guide her steps and keep her safe.
Saturday, April 19
Pray for D to know complete and full healing in her back, that God would be gracious and compassionate towards her, and would give healing freely. Pray that as she waits for healing she would be confident in God’s goodness and would be encouraged in her faith as she remembers His faithfulness to her. Ask for her to have family and friends who will support her and be a source of joy and hope in her life.
Pray for M as she adjusts to an unexpected life change and feels off-balance and a little lost in her calling. Ask that she would keep her eyes on the Lord and would know safety and peace in His presence, that He is faithful and good even when things around her are in upheaval, and she may not understand why and how things happen as they do. Pray she would know peace as she sits with Jesus and learns new routines of quiet and rest.
Pray for S as she desires to be sensitive to the voice and leading of the Holy Spirit, that she would make time to be still and listen to His voice and to act in obedience and faith. Pray for her to have confidence in the Lord’s leading for her family, that she would trust Him and be reminded again and again of His goodness and faithfulness. Ask for protection and grace over her and her family as they walk the path set before them.
Sunday, April 20
Pray for Christina and the Board of Directors for Azmera as they prayerfully look ahead to the future of this ministry and trust the Lord’s leading and provision. Pray there would be grace, humility, and an attentiveness to the Lord’s voice as they meet and check in with things that may need to be adjusted or set aside for the time being.
Pray for the upcoming Haven Retreats, Stateside Summit, and other events they will host and be a part of. Pray for each woman who is applying to volunteer or attend that God will work out all the details for them to do so, and that the women on Azmera’s side who decide the teams will allow the Lord to lead and provide. Ask for God to be putting things together and in place, and for the Azmera to trust His leading and to set aside any preconceived ideas or plans that do not align with His timing and heart.
Finally - Thank you for praying with us! We are honored and grateful for the time you have spent in prayer the past two weeks, and we hope you have been impacted in your relationship with Jesus because of it. As you look ahead towards the coming seasons and the plans you have, may you know the goodness, grace, and provision of the Lord for everything you hope for, and for the unexpected things that will come your way. May you be blessed, encouraged, and challenged in your walks with Jesus, and may you know His faithful presence and love in every area and relationship in your life.
