Azmera ARGENTINA 2025 | Prayer Calendar (April 6 - April 12)

Hello! We are heading to Argentina for our next Haven Retreat, and would be delighted to have you join us in prayer over the women volunteering and attending. Please don’t feel as though you need to pray over everything listed; our encouragement is to allow the Lord to lead you as you pray. We hope you are blessed and encouraged during the time you spend in prayer this week. ~suzanna

Sunday, April 6 

Pray for the Connection Crew as they begin their trip to Argentina, that there would be safety in travels, smooth flights and connections, and good rest along the way. Pray that as the women meet up and travel together, there would be a sense of common purpose and camaraderie as they prepare to serve together. Pray for good connections, compassion, and understanding among this group of women. Ask for there to be clear communication and a good support system in place for them as they get ready to give of themselves in ways they aren’t yet aware of.

Pray for the hotel, rooms, and spaces that will be used by the women at this retreat, for protection over every space. Ask that the Spirit of the Lord will be tangible and heavy in each of these places, that there would be no room for anything other than God and the goodness He has in store.

Pray for M as she continues to work towards healing and wholeness mentally, as well as spiritually and emotionally. Ask for grace and provision for support in her ministry, and as she waits for doors to be opened for new ministry opportunities. Pray that she would walk in faith and hope as she waits on the Lord, that she would be filled with joy and peace in this season.

Monday, April 7

Pray for S as she prepares for transitions in her life and ministry, as her best friend will be returning to her sending country in April. Pray for peace as she adjusts to life without her friend around, and for her friend as she adjusts to life back in her home country. Ask for new friendships for both of the women, that they would reach out to and connect with others in their community.

Pray for A to have wisdom and discernment as she looks for ways to balance ministry with rest and renewal for herself on a consistent basis. Ask that she would learn healthy boundaries and would learn to say “no” with confidence and peace. Pray that she would see the fruit of her decisions, and would feel healthier and happier from prioritizing herself and rest.

Pray for R as she desires to encounter Jesus in new and more intimate ways. Pray she would be intentional about setting aside time to sit with Him, to quiet her heart and mind to hear His voice, and to know His heart as He reveals Himself to her in answer to her prayers. Ask that she would be filled with excitement and joy as she walks with God in deeper, more intentional ways.

Tuesday, April 8

Pray for K as she desires to be the wife and mother that God has called her to be, that she would know fullness of life and joy in those roles. Ask that as she balances being a wife and mother with the other roles and responsibilities she has that she would make time for herself to rest and do things she enjoys doing for herself. Pray for wisdom, discernment and understanding as she handles family dynamics and situations, for her to be gracious and compassionate to those around her.

Pray for C as she works toward being intentional about making time for rest and Sabbath. Pray that as she makes time for rest she would find herself rejuvenated and filled in areas she isn’t aware of. Ask for new energy, focus, and joy as she finds rest in the Lord. 

Pray for A as she navigates health issues with her daughter, that she would have wisdom in treatments and patience, and rest in the moments of weariness and any feelings of being overwhelmed. Ask that God would pour out His healing on her daughter, to bring life and wholeness to her body, and set her free from the seizures and any other things in her body that are misaligned. Pray for grace, peace and hope as they wait on the Lord, that in the waiting they would see His goodness and know His presence. 

Pray for E as she is the primary caretaker for her 88 year-old mother, who has Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia and lives with them in their country of service.  Pray for a good support system for her, that she would know when she needs to step back and care for herself, that there would be people around her for her to lean on and ask for help. Ask for peace of mind as she travels, that she would know her mom is in good hands with their stand-in caretaker; pray for this woman to have complete healing and rest as she recovers from a broken foot.

Wednesday, April 9

Pray for Christina as she prepares to lead this Haven Retreat, that she would know the presence and voice of the Lord in ways she hasn’t yet known, and would allow Him to lead and guide her as she leads the women. Pray for rest, energy, and healing over her as she gives of herself during her time in Argentina. Ask that she would trust God’s leading and timing and would act in obedience with joy.

Pray for Judy as she oversees the practical and logistical aspects of this Haven Retreat as the Retreat Specialist. Pray she would get good sleep each evening, and have the energy and focus needed each day to handle the details and organization of each part of the day. Pray for Sarah as she assists Judy with the needs that will arise each day. Pray these women would work well together and would have good communication, understanding and the desire to try new things as they work together to support the volunteers as well as the women attending. 

Pray for C and her mother as they both continue to recover from various health issues and surgeries, that they would stay healthy and well, and would be proactive about maintaining healthy lifestyles. Pray for her as she enters a planning phase for new Leadership Training after the Haven Retreat is over. Ask that as she handles various responsibilities and roles that she will make time for herself and will allow others to come alongside to help with her ministry and workload.

Thursday, April 10 

The Argentina Haven Retreat Starts today! Pray for the Connection Crew as they work together to finalize preparations and spend time praying and planning together. Pray they would be united in heart and focus and would be excited to see what God will do over the next four days. 

Pray for the women as they arrive, that as soon as they are greeted, they will feel welcomed, loved, and invited into a safe place to rest and drop their burdens. Pray for good connections, conversations and friendships to be formed from the first encounters. Ask for each woman attending to feel the presence of the Lord and to know His grace and love.

Pray for Amy as she teaches and shares from her heart and experiences. Ask that she would be sensitive to the Lord’s leading and would know when to speak and when to stay silent. Pray for protection over her as she shares truth in boldness and kindness, that she would know God’s presence with her and would be filled with confidence and delight.

Pray for Jamie as she leads the women in worship through music and song, that she would be attentive to the voice and leading of the Holy Spirit and would act and speak in obedience as He leads. Pray for a deep sense of connection and unity with Jesus, that she would have a heart and mind of worshipping Him as much as she leads. Ask for grace over her sleep and rest during her time in Argentina. 

Friday, April 11

Pray for the first full day of the Argentina Haven Retreat, that as the women gather to worship, pray, connect, and learn with one another, there would be a sense of unity, peace, and hope. Ask for each women to be rested and refreshed and to have hope for what the day will hold. Pray for encounters with the Lord that will be holy and unexpected, that will be life-giving and full of freedom and truth. Pray for the Connection Crew to continue to be united in heart and focus, that the time they spend together will be refreshing and encouraging as they give deeply of themselves. Pray there would be light and laughter as they gather.

Pray for Char and GiGi as they will spend time counseling women one-on-one. Pray for them to be sensitive to the Lord’s voice and for them to be bold in their obedience as He leads them. Ask for each session to be covered in the protection and presence of Jesus, as hard and holy work will be done in the lives, hearts, and minds of the women they counsel. Pray they would have the rest and energy needed for each day, and for them to allow God to hold the things they hear.

Pray for Crystal as she will give her time, heart, and experience through Spiritual Direction. Pray that each conversation she has will be one where the women feel safe, valued and heard, and will walk away feeling lighter and focused on the things God has for them. Pray for protection and healing over her body, that she would have the rest and stamina needed for each day. Ask that she would know God in deeper and truer ways from her time here.

Pray for Cindy as she ministers through the gift of massage. Pray for strength and rest in her body as she uses her hands to give rest, relief, and healing to the women who come to her. Ask that the space she works in will be heavy with the Lord’s presence, that all who leave will feel rested, refreshed, and cared for. 

Saturday, April 12 

Pray for the second full day of the Haven Retreat, that as the women continue to gather there would be a sense of anticipation and joy for what the Lord will do among them today. Ask for the women to be bold in asking for help, and for there to be sensitivity and wisdom in each one in knowing when to speak and when to allow the Lord to fill the space and silence. Pray for protection and grace over the women as they gather in the Name of Jesus.

Pray for Debbie, Patti and Abigail as they serve the women through giving pedicures. Pray for each of these women to be rested and ready for each day, for them to be in tune to the voice of the Holy Spirit as they converse with the women and pray for them as needed. Ask for protection over them as they spend this time in Argentina. 

Pray for Anna and Melba as they primarily serve through facilitating the Create Stations. Pray for them to work well together and to encourage one another as they step outside of their comfort zones at different times. Ask that the space they create will be fun and light-hearted, a place for the women to gather to laugh and connect in a lighter way.

Pray for Crista as she serves through being the primary photographer, as well as assisting with pedicures and the create stations as needed. Pray for her to have fun during her time in Argentina, and to know new facets of God as she experiences Him in a different setting than normal. Ask for her to love and be loved well this week.
