Azmera INDONESIA 2025 | Prayer Calendar (February 28 - March 2)

Greetings! We have the privilege to continue praying for the women who attended the Indonesia Haven Retreat, and we would be honored to have you join us as well. We hope you are encouraged as you spend time with the Lord, and we look forward to seeing you again in April when we head to Argentina for our Spring Haven Retreat!

Friday, February 28

Pray for D as she balances being a wife and mother to four teenage boys, for her to make time for herself and realign her focus and priorities as needed. Pray that the time she spent at the Retreat will have been restful, rejuvenating and life-giving. 

Pray for P as she seeks God’s guidance for the next steps in her life. Ask that she would be intentional about sitting still and listening to God’s voice as she asks for His leading, and that she would trust herself to know His voice as she follows in faith. Pray for hope and excitement as He makes the way clear for her, and as she makes plans for new things in her life.

Pray for A as she transitions to a new season of wife and new homeschool mother. Pray she would be gracious with herself as she navigates new schedules and responsibilities, while still staying present and focused on her marriage and the community around her. Ask that the things she learned and experienced at the Haven Retreat will help her build solid routines of rest and renewal for herself on a consistent basis.

Pray for L as she and her family as they continue to trust the Lord to provide the financial support needed to continue their work on the mission field. Ask for a deeper level of faith and confidence in the Lord’s timing and provision. Pray for joy and hope as they adjust and get settled in a new community, ministry, and surroundings.

Pray for S to have continued rest and energy as the semester is underway. Pray that she would find good rhythms of rest, renewal and self-care on her own, in addition to those offered by those around her and opportunities to attend retreats such as the Haven Retreat. Pray for focus, peace and a sensitivity to the Lord’s voice and leading.

Saturday, March 1

Pray for A and her husband as they are in a very difficult season in their marriage. Ask for healing, wisdom, discernment and understanding for both of them as they seek renewal and whole-heartedness, both individually and as a couple. Ask for protection over their hearts and minds against any word or offer of help that is not from God, that they would know truth and allow it to lead and guide them through this season, to trust that God is with them and will make all things new.

Pray for R and her husband as they lead and serve alongside the team leaders for their teams in Indonesia. Pray for wisdom, compassion and knowledge as they lead, that they would be sensitive to the needs of the team leaders under their care. Ask that they would be filled with the Holy Spirit and would follow His guiding and voice with faith and a deep trust.

Pray for M, her husband and family as they grieve the death of their six-year-old granddaughter. Pray for them to know the comforting presence of Jesus with them, and for them to extend grace to themselves and one another in this time. Ask for them to experience moments of peace, restoration, and healing as they walk through this valley.

Pray for MM as she seeks vision and leading for this next season of life. Ask that she would make time to sit with the Lord and lean in towards His voice, that as He speaks to her she would listen intently and follow obediently. Pray for a new confidence, trust and anticipation of what is yet to come.

Pray for D and the ministry to the almost 200 students they interact with each week, as they long for salvation and abundant life for each of them.  Pray for boldness, compassion, and a willingness to speak or remain silent as the Lord leads. Ask that as their church grows, it would be healthy and would have solid leadership, community, and focus.

Sunday, March 2

Pray for Azmera, Christina, and the Board of Directors as they continue to plan and prepare for the things Azmera will host and be involved in this year. Pray for humility, truth and compassion to be the foundation of their conversations and time spent together. Pray for an increase in sensitivity and willingness to be obedient to the voice of the Lord as He guides this ministry.

Pray for the Haven Retreats yet to be held this year; that as women plan and look ahead towards attending, they would know God’s provision in finances, time off, and the ability to leave things behind for a few days so that they may enter God’s rest and know Him in deeper, truer ways. Pray for His provision to be abundant, and His name to be known and glorified.

Pray for the women who will join the Haven Retreats as a part of the Connection Crew, volunteering their time, energy, and gifts from the Lord. Ask that there would be abundant provision for each woman to be able to serve, and for eyes to see how God provides in His perfect timing. Pray that God would be preparing each woman to serve alongside others, and would be unifying each team before it has even been formed.

Finally, THANK YOU! Thank you for being a part of this ministry through your prayers, the time you spend with Jesus on behalf of our sisters near and far, and the willingness to pray as the Lord guides you. This ministry would not be what it is without your part in it, and we are so grateful.
